I am a journalist based in Wellington, NZ, writing a feature story about Catholicism in this country and how it is interacting with various changes in society. As part of that, I was quite keen to talk to an openly gay Catholic New Zealander. It’s not an easy thing to find at a drop of a hat but I thought given your advocacy you may have stumbled across someone down here (New Zealand) who you can put me in touch with. I do not have personal, direct knowledge of any gay Catholics in New Zealand. However, I do have readers in all parts of the globe, and there’s no reason why they should not include some from NZ.
